arv : A Conceptual Journey through Sound and Legacy

"What will you leave behind?"

 "arv" is a conceptual project by BLOTTO exploring field recordings, sound design, and wearable stories.
This project is inspired by the life cycle of the salmon — creatures that return to the place of their birth to spawn, complete their journey, and become part of the land once again.

Through field recordings, sound design, we explores themes of return, transformation, and legacy.
It is a sonic and visual archive shaped by water, memory, and the quiet resistance of nature.

It'll be 5 tracks so that is an EP or an Album? Whatever you'd call. This journey started a year ago, July 2024. The time I watched the documentary about salmon, went to Norway to fish the salmon and record the sounds. It was actually decent time to try something I've never done (fishing), also get out of my boundaries. 

This project will be launching July 19, 2025.
